Conophytum calculus is een schattige kleine levende kiezelsteen. Het lijkt op een klein ei en wordt gewoonlijk Marble Buttons genoemd. Deze Conophytum is inheems in de zuidelijke delen van Namaqualand en de Kaapprovincie in Zuid-Afrika.<\/p>\n

Conophytum calculus Zaadkieming<\/h2>\n

Bedek Conophytum calculus zaden niet of slechts in geringe mate met grind of aarde. De dagtemperatuur voor kieming moet rond de 20C zijn, nachttemperaturen tussen 10-15C. Geef geen directe zon maar wat schaduw. Conophytums ontkiemen meestal binnen 2 weken. Houd een hoge luchtvochtigheid aan totdat de zaden zijn ontkiemd. Begin na het ontkiemen dagelijks te ventileren en verwijder het deksel na 2-3 weken volledig.<\/p>\n

Zorg ervoor dat de grond matig vochtig blijft totdat de Conophytum zaailingen groter worden. Na 2-3 maanden kan je de grond tussen de gietbeurten door volledig laten drogen.
