Faucaria Plants for Sale – Unusual and Rare Succulents

Faucaria plants are named after the Latin word faux (jaw). The Faucaria genus contains a number of jaw-type Mesembs that form short stemmed miniature rosettes. They are found in South Africa. Known Faucarias are F. tigrina (Tierbekvygie), F. tuberculosa, F. felina and F. candida.

Faucaria Care and Propagation

Faucaria plants need bright light and a rocky / peat soil mix with good drainage. We have composed a special Lithops & Mesembs Soil which is very suitable for these Succulents. Faucaria species can be grown outside from half May to September. You should protect them from direct sun and heavy rain. We keep our Faucaria and most other Succulents dry in winter at a minimum temperature of 5C. Faucaria can be propagated from seeds.

Each Faucaria plant is carefully wrapped in paper and comes with a label and general growth instructions. For more information and help please check our FAQ & Help page.
