Do you have a question?
- Q What soil do I need to germinate these seeds and what is the best way to sow them? answer nowAsked by Paul on June 22, 2019 11:18 amAnswered by the admin Hello Paul. Dinteranthus can be germinated like Lithops seeds. You can use our Lithops & Mesembs Soil for germination. Make sure that you do not cover these tiny seeds with soil or rock. You can fill a container with soil and then evenly spread out the seeds over the soil. Then give the soil a good spray with water to wash in the seeds between the soil particles. Maintain good soil and air humidity untill the seeds start to germinate in about 14 days. The seedlings are very small. The germinate best with temperatures around 23C. When most seeds have germinated you want to start ventilation in order to prevent mold and rot of the seedlings. Good luck!
